Double Barrel Arrow Loader Exploded ViewInstallation

  1. Remove any existing accessories from the stabilizer mounting location on your bow.  You will be able to re-install your other accessories after the Double Barrel Arrow Loader™ is installed
  2. Using the one 5/16”-24 x 1” bolt provided, attach Part C to the stabilizer mounting location on your bow using the washer provided. DO NOT fully tighten the bolt at this time.
  3. Using the one #8-32 x .75” bolt provided, attach Part A to Part B as shown. It is recommended that a thread locking compound be used on this bolt.
  4. Using the two #8-32 x 1¼” bolts provided, attach Part D to Part C. DO NOT fully tighten the bolts at this time.
  5. Slide Part B between Parts C and D and tighten the two #8-32 x 1 ¼” bolts as much as possible while still allowing Part B to move between Parts C and D slightly.
  6. Mount an arrow (without a broadhead or field point) onto your bow and make sure your arrow rest is in the shooting position.
  7. Attach another arrow (without a broadhead or field point) to the Double Barrel Arrow Loader™ by pressing the arrow into the rubber connectors (the two arrows should be side by side).

THE RUBBER CONNECTORS WERE DESIGNED TO FIT ALL ARROW DIAMETERS AND TYPES. IF THE ARROW LOADED INTO THE DOUBLE BARREL ARROW LOADER™ IS NOT FIRMLY HELD BY THE RUBBER CONNECTORS FOR ANY REASON, DO NOT CONTINUE. REMOVE THE DEVICE FROM YOUR BOW AND CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER.

  8. Adjust the Double Barrel Arrow Loader.™
    • Slide Part B between Parts C and D to adjust the vertical position.
    • Rock the entire device about the center axis of Part C to adjust the horizontal position.
    • Align the arrow mounted in the Double Barrel Arrow Loader™ to a position as close as possible to the arrow rest without interfering with the launching of the first arrow. This will depend on the type of rest that you use, the type of fletching that you use and the type of broadheads that you use. On my bow the arrows sit about 2 inches apart.

Double Barrel Arrow Loader on BowYOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO MOVE THE ARROW FROM THE DOUBLE BARREL ARROW LOADER TO YOUR REST BY GRABBING THE NOC OF THE ARROW WITH YOUR RELEASE HAND WHILE MOVING THE ARROW OUT OF THE RUBBER CONNECTORS WITH THE INDEX AND MIDDLE FINGERS OF YOUR BOW HAND.

  9. Make a reference mark on Part C and your bow with a pencil to indicate the proper alignment of Part C to the bow.
  10. Make a reference mark on Part B where it meets Parts C and Part D with a pencil to indicate the proper position of Part B.
  11. Remove the arrows from the bow and the Double Barrel Arrow Loader.™
  12. Slide Part B out of Parts C and D.
  13. Securely tighten the bolt that holds Part C to the bow by inserting an Allen wrench through the hole in Part D while ensuring your reference marks on Part C and the bow remain aligned.
If you cannot get enough torque on the 5/16” bolt with an Allen wrench with this method, you could remove Part D from Part C to get closer to the bolt and apply more torque.
  14. Slide Part B between Parts C and D again.
  15. Securely tighten the two 8-32 x 1¼” bolts that hold Part C to Part D while ensuring your reference mark on Part B where it meets Parts C and D remains aligned.
  16. By holding Part B in one hand and your bow in the other, check to make sure that you have tightened all the bolts so that the device is firmly mounted and stationary.
  17. Mount the two arrows back onto your bow and the Double Barrel Arrow Loader™ to ensure that they remain in the adjusted position after all the bolts were tightened.
  18. If the arrows are not aligned as desired, go back to step 10 and repeat the adjustment process until you are satisfied with the adjustment and alignment.

Operation

  1. Using the Double Barrel Arrow Loader Video While wearing SAFETY GLASSES for the first time, test fire your bow WITHOUT AN ARROW LOADED in the Double Barrel Arrow Loader™ to ensure there is no movement in the device.
  2. If the test firing in step 19 is successful, test fire the bow again WITH AN ARROW LOADED into the Double Barrel Arrow Loader.™
  3. If the test firing in step 20 is successful, move the arrow from the Double Barrel Arrow Loader™ to your rest by grabbing the noc with your release hand while moving the arrow out of the rubber connectors with your index and middle fingers of your bow hand.
  4. After you are completely satisfied with the adjustment of the Double Barrel Arrow Loader™ on your bow, you could trim any extra material from the end of Part B if you like. The original length of Part B has to be long enough to adjust to a variety of bow setup situations. You could also use thread locking compound on all the bolts to keep them from loosening.

LIKE ANY OTHER SKILL, YOUR ABILITY TO SUCCESSFULLY USE THE DOUBLE BARREL ARROW LOADER™ WILL DEPEND ON HOW MUCH YOU PRACTICE, PRACTICE AND PRACTICE THE SIMPLE TECHNIQUE OF MOVING THE ARROW FROM THE DOUBLE BARREL ARROW LOADER™ TO YOUR REST. YOU NEED TO GET TO THE POINT WHERE THE TECHNIQUE IS SECOND NATURE AND WHERE YOU DON’T HAVE TO LOOK AT YOUR HANDS TO DO IT. THIS WILL ENSURE THAT WHEN THE TIME COMES THAT YOU NEED THAT SECOND ARROW, IT WILL BE THERE AS SMOOTHLY AND QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
